Best AI stocks: how to judge them
"Best AI stocks", "top AI stocks", "AI stocks to buy" are the most-searched phrases about this market. This site does not give buy lists. It gives the two things a buy list should be built from: how much AI actually matters to each company's business, taken from what the company itself reports, and a record of what each company files and what its insiders do. Below: the 37 companies ranked by AI exposure, the newest listings, the companies with disclosed OpenAI agreements, and a rules-based model fund you can inspect.

Three ratings, defined on the methodology page: Core means AI demand is the main driver today; Significant means a large and growing share of revenue or spending; Partial means one line of business or an indirect benefit. The rating is editorial; the figures behind it on each company page are the company's own.

Top AI stocks by the numbers, not opinion
The home page carries a rules-based model fund: up to five equal-weight picks, recomputed every 15 minutes from SEC filings, insider transactions and this site's calendar. The rules are printed next to the result and every signal links to the filing it came from. It is a simulation you can audit, not a recommendation.
For any single company, the page answers three questions: what it supplies to AI, how much AI matters to its business (company-reported figures, kept apart from estimates), and what to watch next (earnings date, filings, insider trades). Start with the categories: ai chip stocks, hyperscaler stocks, ai memory chip stocks, ai networking stocks, ai power and cooling stocks, ai software stocks, ai data center stocks.
Before you chase it: five checks
Half of Gen Z investors say they have bought something out of fear of missing out (FINRA Foundation and CFA Institute, 2023). These five checks take ten minutes, and every one is on the company page with a link to the document.
- 01What does it actually sell to AI?
Question 01 on the company page. If the answer is a share of one product line, the AI story is a share of the business, not the business.
- 02What does the company itself report?
Question 02: company-reported figures, kept apart from estimates. A stock with no reported AI figure is being priced on a story.
- 03Did the insiders buy, or only sell?
The Form 4 list on the company page. Open-market purchases (code P) are rare; sales are routine and mean less.
- 04What did the last 10-K say could go wrong?
The risks box links to Item 1A of the annual report. Read the first three; they are the company's own words.
- 05When does it report next?
The next-earnings line under the headline. Buying two days before results is a bet on the print, whatever the thesis.
